I've been having an issue with my audio for the last few thousand miles (started around 6-7K, currently just over 11K) where randomly I will get distortion/crackling when adjusting settings while driving. The best way I can describe the sound other than crackle is it's similar to when someone in a movie plugs a guitar into an amp and you hear the electric buzz for a second. It has happened when I've turned the volume up or down using both the steering wheel controls and the volume knob, when adjusting the temperature, when using the touch screen to accept a call, or swiping to switch the little right side screen to the main screen or vice versa. It has also caused the audio on phone calls to become majorly distorted or muted altogether (without actually muting the call, the person had to hang up and call back for me to hear them again). It used to happen mostly after I'd been driving for a while (at least 15-20mins or so) and adjusting something after leaving it alone for that time, but now it's happening more often and sometimes right after I get in the bronco to go somewhere.
I did take it to the dealership (around 10.2K mi) and they kept it for a few weeks trying to replicate it and ended up replacing the subwoofer, but it started doing it again pretty much right after I picked it up. I don't really want to take it back until I have a better idea what the problem could be which is difficult since it's so random. I'm really hoping someone on here has had similar problems that they figured out and I did try a few searches but no results outside of people just overhauling their audio system. Oh, it's a 2023 Badlands Sasquatch and does have the high package with the B&O system. Thanks for reading and hopefully I explained it ok, will answer any questions asap.
Oh, just remembered the screen has also just started doing a weird thing where if I skip a song the album picture will get stuck when starting a new song (ti plays the next song but shows the skipped song's picture until I turn the vehicle off). Not sure if that could be related or not.
