Got a weird one here want to see if anyone has had same or similar issue. If bronco sits with drivers side facing hot sun (85 or hotter) the drivers door will unlock and sense that door is open, window will roll down partially like door is open, sets off alarm, door ajar light, etc...
Dealership with help from Ford engineer replaced body control module, thought it was fixed but nope.
I can make it go away by spraying cold water on drivers fender at rear lower part behind front tire (I'm told the bcm is mounted inside the drivers foot kick panel which is why I tried this to start with. It also will go away after approximately 10 minutes driving with a/c on after interior cools off.
I initially thought it would be a faulty door ajar switch (door latch) but cooling off the drivers door handle/latch area with water does not correct the problem.
Yes, very weird problem, any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated, thx!
