Got a weird one here want to see if anyone has had same or similar issue. If bronco sits with drivers side facing hot sun (85 or hotter) the drivers door will unlock and sense that door is open, window will roll down partially like door is open, sets off alarm, door ajar light, etc...
Dealership with help from Ford engineer replaced body control module, thought it was fixed but nope.
I can make it go away by spraying cold water on drivers fender at rear lower part behind front tire (I'm told the bcm is mounted inside the drivers foot kick panel which is why I tried this to start with. It also will go away after approximately 10 minutes driving with a/c on after interior cools off.
I initially thought it would be a faulty door ajar switch (door latch) but cooling off the drivers door handle/latch area with water does not correct the problem.
Yes, very weird problem, any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated, thx!

As of 9-10-2023 problem still not fixed. Dealership has replaced Body Control Module and Gateway Module to no avail. I'll just keep parking it in the shade for now

Good morning. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to take a look at these electrical issues on my end.

Almost sounds like a passenger/pet hot car safety feature ...

oh this is the way cars get fixed now. dealers throw parts at it until it maybe gets fixed. ask me how i know, i still have a parasitic draw after almost 2 mos in the shop. i just live with it cuz no one knows how to work or fix cars nowadays. get a good jump pack and carry a shade tent would be my solution.

seriously though wish ya the best

Update: Got Bronco back from dealer today. Technician found a loose pin in drivers door harness connector. Has not acted up for last 4 days after this was repaired, but temperature has been much cooler. I think they've got it fixed this time 🤞
