I'm losing my mind searching for this info. Isn't here some sort of setup to control which switches are ignition switched or always on?

Update: figured it out.

I would assume it’s however you wire them. Whatever source or slot in the fuse block whether it be always hot or only hot with the ignition turned to On. Just grab a voltmeter and probe them.

I could be wrong but I believe the ignition has to be in accessory on position for the aux switches to be powered. Not aware of the switches being individually controlled...maybe through Forescan possibly?

The aux switches are pre-wired and pre-fused from the factory.

Okay, so go to the open end of the wire that you are connecting to and test them.

I see this from your link:
  • Operate only when the ignition is in the On position, regardless of whether the engine is running or not
I swear I saw there was a way to setup Aux 5 and 6 to be always on. Maybe I saw this info on a dash cam thread?
To my knowledge none of them have the option of being always on

Sounds like my only option, trying to avoid adding another switch to the dash. I'll have to get in there and play around with the wiring.

I have the same memory, but have no proof of it. I thought they could be changed in SYNC, but I have not found any reference to it.

What are you trying to do with it? I think fuse 4 under the steering column is unswitched.

All 6 are only hot with ignition on or accessory mode only.
There is a post somewhere on here that rewired something to make 3 of the 6 switches hot all the time.

I think that’s an option on either Raptor or Super Duty aux switches, you move a fuse and get always on power to 2 of the aux switches. As far as I know it’s not possible on Bronco to do that

I'm wiring up a few things. For this my thought was always on to the Dashcam (switch off so it's not in security mode when parked in the garage) and another to cargo RGB lights. I have a couple switch options in my pile of parts to install, now that its time to install the aux switches would be nice to use.

Update, I figured it out! Info on my build thread.
