Back glass shock glue coming off

Okay..so had anyone else had this happen before? Went to go into the back and was confused as to why it wouldn’t stay open.
Do I just superglue and call it a day?
I have to wait until Monday to bring to the dealership.

It's happened to a few here, I'd leave it for the dealer to mess with.

+ 1 for dealerships issue to fix. Don't start screwing around with it, even if it seems like a simple fix. Plus having them repair it will log it as an issue - The more times it's properly reported, the better chance of Ford fixing it on future vehicles or issuing a TSB.

The worse part is that my Husband works on fords for a living. He said he has never seen anything like this. Neither has anyone he works with. He was ready to glue it. I told him to wait and see what others have to say about it. Either way it will get fixed and reported at some point.

I haven’t had that issue but my rear window de-froster contact fell off the other day.

The exact same think happened to me on Monday. The service department at the dealership said I need to bring it in so a tech can look at it.

Happened to me too. The drivers side came off about a month ago. Took it to the dealership and they ordered a new back glass. During the “back order” the passenger side came off also. Thankfully my appt is next Tuesday.

My struts are fine, but my defroster cable just fell off the other day.
