Backup Camera lines missing after tailgate replacement.

Ok, so after 5 months of waiting the body shop finally got a tailgate for the rear-end we had in January.

Body shop replaced the rear tailgate, AND the spare tire carrier.

I assume they failed to do something. Any idea what? Obviously I'm taking it back in the morning, but if it's an easy fix...

Get some Sharpies and draw them on the screen like a normal Ford technician.

There is actually a setting on or off in Settings. Hopefully that’s all it is.

I had something similar happen when I installed a spare tire reinforcment and it came back on it’s own after a bit

No, there is not. I dug through all the settings. For some stupid reason Hill Start Assist had turned itself back on, so it was worth going through all the settings.

If you have parking assist, there is a setting to turn off the beep. But no settings for the lines.

I’ll check it out tomorrow because I turned mine off at one time and they were gone, then got them back. Hope I’m not getting my vehicles confused…New tailgate, new spare carrier with camera I’m assuming.. I think the new cameras require the camera module to be programmed?????
