Base trim wheels and tires

The Bronco steelies look just like the universal steel spare rims used on virtually everything these days. I love the idea of offering tough, utilitarian steel wheels, but why couldn't they have spec'd a unique design for this application. Has anyone looked under a Ranger to see what the spare rim looks like? Same part number?

As my build is a 2dr base I do like the steelies though I may plastidip them to a darker color. I do not want bigger tires as I will be doing a fair amount of highway driving. So this is my perfect setup ?

I was also thinking about grey or black hyperdip, did you get your bronco and make changes ? Pics?

I'm planning on a 4dr base 2.7L, keeping the stock steelies and putting some 285/75 R16 MT tires on them and calling it a day. Maybe next black friday I'll upgrade to some nicer wheels. Looks like plenty of room for the larger tires on the rims. That's the biggest I wanted to go anyway since I'm planning some overland and cross-country road trips in it next year.

Oh no, I'm a #gotitatgranger august 1st 2020 order holder. I won't be seeing mine for years probably..

Dipping it would be an excellent idea! You should post pics when/if you do that.
