BC Shipping Question

To those select few from BC who have a Bronco in their possession thus far, just a couple questions for you:

1. How long did it take from your vehicle being built until it showed up at your dealership? (Looking primarily in the Lower Mainland/Vancouver Island area)
2. How did it ship? Was it convoy or train? (I'm assuming train, but never know!)

Judging by the stock i have seen at dealers, its about 30 days. My window sticker says it comes by convoy - but the dealer report says CN rail. Anyone out there with a CN account I would love to track this....

Thanks. I kind of assumed it’d be around a month. Rail makes the most sense out West, but you never know.

follow these directions.....
First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say "TTGX" then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

This worked for me, and it was awesome. You can do it everyday, and watch it move through different Ping points.... If your in Vancouver, it will end up at the Surrey yard for unloading most likely. That is the hardest wait !!! sat there for 4 days until it was delivered to dealer...... 10 minute drive away.... But here now, and your going to love it !!

Mine was built in July, but just showed up last Wednesday. So it sat around at the plant for a long time. Soft top four door outerbanks.

Ugh, that sucks. It seems to be an anomaly on the soft tops thankfully, but I guess we shall see.

Congrats on getting your Bronco though!

Eh. It didn’t bother me that much. I put the order in myself and just watched status stay there at the factory forever. I still don’t know why. But it’s all good. I didn’t need the car yet.
