Far be it from me to be the voice of reason around these parts, but headrests are a safety feature. Them being forward is what keeps your neck from, you know, breaking in an accident
My 2000 Silverado had adjustable headrests (front to back and up/down). I used to keep my headrest as far back as possible to allow room for the backward hats I often wore.
I was rear ended HARD on the freeway. I got moderate whiplash from the lack of headrest support.
Ever since I ran the headrests as far forward as I could. I appreciate the Bronco headrests exactly as they are.

I, like the OP, also bent mine head restraint back as the forward angle of the restraint does not allow you to sit with your seat in a more up right position. I prefer the up right position, picture a rally driver, as it allows me better access to all of the controls on my dash, and a stronger ability to properly pressure my brake pedal in an emergency.
If I was to have left the head restraint in the position from factory, I would be visiting a chiropractor on a weekly basis.
I think your picturing yourself as a rally car driver...🤣

I'm surprised nobody has brought this up yet: altering this head restraint in any way will have your dealer denying any warranty claims. They're ethically bound in this way.

Especially for those who have purchased extended warranties, you will not want to alter your headrest in any shape or form.

You have been warned

Maybe denying a warranty for the seat/headrest.

Nope, for the whole vehicle. Also, if you have had previous warranty work done and the later alter the headrest you will be invoiced for the work done in the past. It's true, really.

Ok STEVE, just what are you trying to say STEVE? How big a boy are you STEVE? I'm guess I'm gonna have to come down there and whip somebody's ass

You are dead wrong.
By your logic, any modification... Lift, CAI, exhaust... Completely voids every part of the warranty.
Educate yourself.

I did, I use the internet, and that's how I know what they will do. They're very sensitive when it comes to safety... So much so not only are they going to void your warranty but anybody in your family as well. For example, if your wife drives a Ford, her warranty will no longer be honored as well, just for sleeping in the same bed with you.

Think about it 🤔 If even a small part of what I say is true, would you dare risk it? Of course you wouldn't! Which is why you're not going to... So go out there and bend that headrest back to where it belongs. It's the right thing to do

Wow... You should be a fiction writer, or get on some meds. 🤣
Nothing you stated there is true.
Also, my headrest is at the same angle as it left the factory... The positioning doesn't bother me.

My dealer told me if I removed their dealer license plate frame it would void the warranty.

I replaced the 'Big Bend' stickers with a traditional Bronco script, but my dealer will no longer honor the warranty on the front half of my Bronco because of this.

It's ok however, I kept them and put them on my Whirlpool refrigerator in my kitchen. Now if I have trouble with my Whirlpool, I can take it in to my dealer and drop it off for a minimum of 4 weeks up to about 8 months...which is ok because they will surely give me a loaner fridge...

This is true, really it is.
