Well for a 4 door, for $45k, I’d go Big Bend, Sasquatch, Mid Pkg for $44,660. Easy decision really.

im sticking with the soft top becuz I like it so much and don’t need or want a hardtop.

I was trying to stick to $45k, but I’m going over budget and getting a Black Diamond cuz I like the interior so much, and might do the V6 and end up closer to $49k
I went BD, V6, Auto, Mid and Squatch and wound up just over $47K before fees and taxes.

My budget is <40,000. 2 dr, Base, Squatch, 2.7, Roof rails, Grill Guard, Switches, wheel locks. My dealer is selling at invoice, so I should be out the door at under 40,000...

As I go through all the variant builds, BB, BD, BL...I see a lot of part swapping amongst us wrench turners.

Our build

Black Diamond
Hardtop
Headliners
Mid Package
Keyless entry pad
floor liners
Advanced 4wd
$43,790

On the fence on the tow package, looks like not much for $500. Just for a rear recovery point and maybe a bikerack/hitch hauler type stuff so I don't care about lights.
This is one of my builds as well. If I know without a doubt I can put 33" KO2s on this I will go without squatch.

This is one of the builds I was leaning towards. I don't even mind the steelies.

Looking forward to the updated B&P to see if this is actually accurate, but I think if I sacrifice the 2.7, the pod lights and the alloy upgrades from my planned build, I get my BD in just under 40k:

2dr BD, 2.3 auto, Mid pkg, Adv 4x4 = $39,835

Thinking I may throw the pod lights back on if our patient reservation holder rewards points keep that add on under that magic number 40. Maybe the tail gate fold down tray table instead.

I'm still excited about this thing. Anyone else still excited?

This is where I'm ending up, except 2.7 auto and not Mid.
2dr, 2.7, auto, adv 4x4, floor liners and engine block heater = $39,890 w/ Illinois tax (Granger October deal). I've flirted with BaseSas, but I keep finding myself wanting the MGV. It'll probably continue to be a flirtation on a weekly basis.

So, with the Grangetober Deal, I'll end up with MY22 and any potential changes that may bring with it. I'm along for the ride.

I'm looking at a 45k max build. Just curious as to what other people think is the best "bang for your buck" at this price point?
One thing you can't get at $45k is a 4 door with vinyl seats and a 12" nav screen. Ford made it impossible to get both of these options without the Badlands and High Package. That with the 2. 7 and hardtop will be $51k+.

Base 2Dr 2.7L Sasquatch = Best Bang for Buck! MSRP, including destination: $37,680

This plus $7,320 extra in your savings/investment account
And here is why I'm considering the BasSas with 2.7L. The difference in my scenario isn't $7k, but still an amount of money that I could justify saving/investing vs having MGV and washout interior. That's my internal debate that only I can answer. LOL
