If you're an off road novice like me I also suggest you stick with the Outer Banks. It will be more than capable for your experience. My first Jeep (2019) is my Jeep Sahara, the comparable level of the Outer banks. With no mods the little Jeep is more capable off road than I'll ever be.

Hi all,

I’m in a pretty good situation as it relates to getting a new vehicle. My company picks up the first 45k of any vehicle I choose. I get to keep that vehicle in a company lease for 3 years (i can buy it out at the end for a ridiculously good rate). Anything over and beyond 45k I’m immediately responsible for. So for instance, if the total cost of the car (excluding tax) is $48k I would have to come up with $3000 cash up front.
1) I don’t know if I will buy out the bronco at the end of the 3 year lease. It will probably be somewhere in the 11k range.
2) I have not done any time of off-roading or over landing but it does interest me.

I welcome ALL opinions. Thanks!
Forget OBX and High Pkg!

4Dr Base 2.7L Auto, Sasquatch, hardtop, Aux switches - MSRP $44,865

Keep the $3k in your pocket now.
I'll give you $12k for it after 3 years!

I WISH the base has the mid package. I’d get that base build in a heartbeat.

Since the OP’s question has been answered, I just now want to know where he/she works ? or at least what line of work that’s an awesome perk!

A fairly large paint and coatings company. I’m very fortunate. They cover my insurance, gas and maintenance too.

That’s awesome man kudos!! Do they do automotive paint too? Maybe they’d let you get a custom paint job to prompt the company as well!

Welcome to the world of OBX.

My 4 door OBX build comes in at 45.5 with the dual tops, rear locker, and advanced 4x4. That should get me a novice off roster anywhere I want to go.

Mind sharing that build

My 0.02 - If you actually off-road your truck hard enough to need to utilize the features in the Sasquatch package, it WILL be in situations where it gets beat up... might as well just get a Base if you really plan on going that route. If you plan to keep the truck in good condition and stick mostly to pavement get the OBX - unless of course you are gonna buy an OBX and then end up throwing more $$$ at bigger/agressive tires like 90% of folks on this site - in that case, you might as well just get the badlands off the rip and have the best of all worlds for a little more.
