Best Buy Upgrades

Ok, here is the deal. I have the B&O system in the bronco. I still think it’s woefully lacking and sounds horrible, especially the Bass.

This is my second Bronco. My first (2022 Badlands) did not have the B&O system. While I was out of town after I bought the badlands, my wife took it to Best Buy and had them upgrade all the speakers to Kicker, upgraded the wire harness, had them install an 800w amp (I think 800w) and had a 12” subwoofer in the back. I am not an audiophile, but this set up was very cool to me. After traded in the Bdlands, I lost everything except the subwoofer (my choice).

Now I want to upgrade again, and again I want to use Best Buy (due to the “install protection: I get. Yes, I am aware there are better options). I want the sound to be better and maybe a little louder. For y’all that know your stuff, and using Best Buy items, what would y’all recommend I do? Any help would be great.

I'm also interested in this. Just out of curiosity, how much did your first audio overhaul in your 2022 Badlands cost (if you're comfortable with sharing)?

I don’t mind, but I can’t remember the actual total, but with all the speakers, wire harness, amp, and the subwoofer, I think she was at around $1100. We had the total tech thing as well which took care of the labor costs and warranty.

I want to do almost the same, but with a better amp and if I can, the kicker key 500, but I need some guidance!

Thanks! That seems like a pretty decent price for all the work you had done to it. I'll definitely keep that in mind for when I'm ready to upgrade my audio system.

Easiest thing to do is go back to Best Buy and get them to look up what you had and make a move from there !
