I just came out into my garage to find my diver-side rear reservoir laying on the ground as well. 2021 with 21,400 and basically a pavement princess as well. WHAT IS HAPPENING???

Since your avatar picture and your location assumes your pavement is covered in sodium chloride for 6 months out of 12, I’d say it’s the on road salt more than than the off road dirt portion.

Very little salt used in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Mainly sand used in the winter.

That’s good! You may want to stay out of Wisconsin. We put more salt than snow on the roads.

Pretty crappy that these would fail from rust when not driven in salt. Mine sits all winter inside. I guess there will be some 6100’s in my future.

My rear reservoir on drivers side fell off also. I'm waiting to hear Fords response from the dealership. My 2022 Badlands Sasquatch is still in the service department and upon their inspection they notified me that the passenger side reservoir was in bad shape and will need to be replaced as well. As a Ford owner I'm concerned and disappointed my Bronco is only a year and a half old pavement princess with 20,500 Miles. I pray Ford and Bilstein resolves this issue. Despite this issue I still believe my Bronco is better than any Jeep I owned in the past. As one owner to all other 6G owners take time to look under your vehicle and inspect your rear shocks. Look for corrosion, a loose / missing

rubber reservoir or any signs of a leaking shock. For the sake of safety this issue can be very dangerous for an unexperienced driver or for someone not aware of the shock failure. God Bless.
Just an update, Ford replaced both rear shocks with no hassle. It took 3 weeks but they did provide me with a nice loaner Expedition. I am concerned that it was the exact same part as the ones that failed. However I will remain vigilant and hope it does not reoccur.

As much as a bummer as it is, at least you know your garage is sloped properly towards the floor drain 🤠

Dealership isn't going to install 6100's.. you'll get warranty replacements of what you have now

As @V1Rotate said, the dealer won't replace a failing part with a different under a warranty claim.

Now, they will install a set of shocks at their shop rate. You would supply the parts and expect about $250/per corner in labor. On the low end, one might pay $200/per corner and on the high end, $300/per corner. Of course, that is presuming there are no issues with the install i.e. bent shock mount, rusted bolts, etc.

If you aren't interested in the varying clip height settings, then you can get the non-adjustable Ford Performance Bilstein shocks. They are the same shock body as the 6100s, but they are specifically set to a ride height for either a 2-dr or 4-dr configuration.

While the 6100s can be set at different clip settings, most won't bother unless they are doing the install themselves. Not many owners are willing to pay the quoted labor multiple times just to raise the clip settings.

When I get them installed I was going to tell them to install them to the highest setting seen a YouTube video think it was litebrite they had them installed at highest setting and it looked nice. The 6112 seem like a waste to me cause there is nothing wrong with my Sasquatch springs they only have 14900 on them. From doing research 6100 seemed best option cause it uses your current springs

Just install them yourself and you can make your setting adjustments without having to pay somebody else to do your work each time

You'll need an alignment if you change the height on the front end.. but driving it to a $100 alignment is easy and won't hurt anything.

No idea what shops charge these days for easy suspension work but I'm guessing it's expensive especially if you don't guess correctly the first time on your desired ride height setting

What click setting would stock height be on the 6100. What pisses me off when n I was in for service a couple weeks ago they told me the back shocks were looking but would have to book another appointment for further inspection made no sense there leaking so obviousley there bad I said they shouldn’t be leaking with just 14990 miles. I prob can get them replace under warranty but like many said the issue will just prob come back again cause there cheap shocks
