So, as a South Florida Native, anyone have any news on the Bimini Top and it's perceived permeability? As stated earlier, live in SFL and likely to enjoy the marine grade vinyl and Bimini Top for most of the Spring/Summer/Fall, depending on how wet the socks get.... So, wet feet want to know!?!?

Depends on the material of the top. Ford's current factory options are mesh and canvas. The mesh should be good for shade, while the canvas, should provide a bit more rain protection.

Florida native here too; why are you wearing socks? Jk. I plan to go Bimini most of the year too. I’m thinking I’ll put 303 on the canvas for extra waterproofness. I expect drizzle to kick in from the sides and back though. Maybe the better question is what neoprene seat covers to put on? Also, what towels to keep around and where to store them. I’m still thinking mgv will still get “warm” , not breath at all and cause people to sweat to death or get stuck.

I'm a SoFLo transplant, going MGV to protect against absorption of water from the odd shower and canvas bikini top not mesh. Will keep canvas top on mostly unless choosing topless for the day. Will use beach towels to cover MGV when parked topless to help keep MGV cool if in direct sunlight.
