I have a black diamond with mid and sas package. So no front camera.

but where are the sensors for collision avoidance and such.

are they up in the mirror?
Essentially I want to know if there is anything in the plastic housing where the I think the ACC sensors would be in models equipped with it.

If I get a winch do I need to worry about relocating anything on my model?

Your red circle is where its at, I am pretty sure. I went skiing a few times this year where I would get a warning that the precollision system wasn't available due the sensor being covered. That box was caked with snow/ice each time.

Here is a pic I borrowed from a post on Bronco Nation.

I have the same model & trim and put on an IAG winch plate and Warn winch. Plate is at the same level as the top edge of the modular bumper opening. No errors or oddities. However, next time at the dealer I’m going to ask for a calibration.

This pic is from just below level with the bumper/plate.

Thats a piece of plastic no calibration needed. The camera in the windshield does everything. If you have Advanced Cruise Control on OBX and up, that would be located where the plastic piece is in the bumper.

cover the plastic plate with a piece of food grade aluminum foil.
it'll give an alert on the dash if the pre-collision sensor is in there
when you fire up the vehicle.

Behind the RV mirror. You will get a warning if there are enough dead bugs in the right spot on the windshield.

I just wish there was a way to turn the warnings off, and leave emergency braking on. Tired of it nagging me whenever someone changes lanes in front of me, or following someone through a left turn.
