I did that on my spare only. I have the McGard black hex nuts. I tried the McGard spline and did not like them because they are even narrower. The McGard hex are sort of in-between the factory hex and the McGard spline.

If you paint the wheel do not get any paint in the nut seating surface/cone. Only on the flats.

Is that tire even mounted?

That’s a great price for lug nuts. How’s the quality?
I have the RockTrix lug nuts and they are great. I have had an impact on them 4 times already and no issues.

Black stays put? Got a cheap set at one point and they kinda looked like crap after hitting with the impact.

I bought black ones from amazon. Forget the brand but started rusting at around 1k. Going to try to find better ones after the winter I think. Archetype Racing @EIGHTLUG has some really nice black coated titanium ones but not cheap.

I do love AR and have given them a nice little chunk of change and don’t regret it at all but idk if I could justify the $675 for 27 black titanium lug nuts.

I agree. On one of their threads they mentioned a cheaper vendor or something was found for titanium and will see a price drop. But no price decrease as of yet. Have my eye out just to see the difference.

Our first drop of the newly sourced Ti bars lands next week. 40' of 1" round stock and 40' of 1.25" round stock. That will make A LOT of lug nuts and lug bolts. I'll work on the math, but rough numbers is about a 23-30% reduction in cost at the customer end, depending on the size and finish.

Do you know if these cover the unpainted surface on the Sasquatch wheels?

@EIGHTLUG do you have any photos of the black ones? It looks like all the photos on the site are the raw version.

Are they gloss black to match the sasquatch wheels, or are they more greyish black?

I ordered 8 sets of these 4 packs. The guys at Summit racing and McGard recommended the longer ones as there were reports of the shorter ones bottoming out. Keep in mind these are for Raptor though - thus the bigger size.

PVD/DLC is more of a satin finish.
