Very happy with how it turned out. Lesson learned, save money and just paint your hooks as the black hooks aren't coated as well as our original silver ones were.
Powder coating is definitely the way to go. There are a few tiny specs from rocks/,debris where I can see the original silver. You have to be up and close to notice it. I'll coat it again when/if this ice age ever ends. How is your paint holding up? Sponsored
Is that the part number on the box for the black bumper cover? I called Ford about it today but they told me that number is showing to be silver. ThanksSeems a number have done this and each in their own way. I wanted to use as much OEM hardware as possible and worked with my favorite Ford parts guy to track down hardware from the new for 2024 Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package. I started by finding the VIN for a Raptor equipped as such and getting it to him so he could peruse the HVBOM and come up with some part numbers and prices for these two areas...

Bash plate - forget it as it was over 2k. Backup plan for that part was to paint as others have done. I wanted the two "hooks" as I figured the coating on the OEM pieces would be better than paint, etc. And I wanted the plastic trim piece in black as again, I figured it would be more robust than painting the original silver piece.

Plastic piece was perfect. The black hooks...coating was shit. Chips galore, barely a single coat on them. I chose to eventually coat them with POR15.

Install was relatively straightforward.

I did have to pull the bumper off to get at the tiny screw holding each hook in place (thanks Ford!). Be sure to disconnect the wiring harness connector on the driver side of the bumper in order to be able to lower the bumper assembly down and out of the way.

I degreased the silver bash plate, dried it off, warmed it up, and painted it with SEM Trim Black (2 cans).

Do you have the part number for the black plastic bumper cover? ThanksPlastic fascia - I used the exact same push pins that came on the vehicle.

I painted the bolt heads of the 4 bolts for the bash plate (I used some POR15) but I think the Black Appearance package uses "silver" bolts just like stock. I used the POR15 because it stays a little soft and the finish will undoubtedly get tweaked any time a socket is used on them such as when loosening the rear two so you can remove the rearward plate for an oil change.

The two cans of SEM paint were enough to get three coats on both the front and the back. I still have about a third of the second can left.
