Ppl need to be very careful about what's publically identifiable and traceable or just use a disposable LLC as their identifier. Many parties like to sue for defamation just to bully, intimidate and cost time and money.

That looks like the same chinesium IAG is repackaging.
The only connection we have to this product, is that China knocked-off our USA made product. And our EZ Steps are still proudly made 100% in the US, by IAG Offroad.

It seems like there's a whole lot of stuff you guys sell "Made in America" that's an Amazon first product by the Chinese vendors. Cabin light kits, steps, cup holders, tailgate tables.

Not trying to debate over who made what, but it seems interesting that they've seemed to target you guys A LOT versus other vendors.

I guess "often imitated, never duplicated" will be the next reply?

And let me be clear - I think much of that product being replicated is the Chinese Communist Party, subsidizing their cheap steel industry's manufacturing.

To me, its obvious what they do is irrespective of intellectual property. I also think they have to give it away to include it in their earnings, only to offset it with a "marketing expense." Goal - the much larger game of artificially boosting Chinese cheap steel industry & their GDP to keep up in the world game of national superiority (much like US farming).

With that said, I'll take off my foil hat and head back to my bunker.

We have made it very clear about what we sell as imported products, we call them our I-line. Those products you will find elsewhere, as they are bought from a Chinese supplier that created them. We do have some product that is made overseas specifically for us. Those products you might find because you can't trust these suppliers to only make the product for us. They use our molds and tooling to make the product to sell to others. It's very unethical, but this is what we have come to expect from our 'partners' overseas.

The products we advertise as Made in the USA are just that. We produce them from raw goods in our Maryland and Pennsylvania facilities with American labor, paying American taxes. The skids you show above were designed by me in the same chair I'm using to fabricate this reply. They were cut 100 feet from me on our laser, and bent on our press brake. Welded by our employees and powder coated on our 500 foot long powder coating line. Packaged and shipped from, you guessed it, our facility in Pennsylvania.

We are currently discontinuing many of our imported parts and making them in-house. Our multilevel tailgate table is a very recent example, which came with an increase in price, but much better quality control. All of our bull bars in the near future will be made here as well.

These US made products are like our children. If you were to question we are the biological parents of these children, you'd be met with the same emotional defense. I believe we might be the only company in the Bronco community that is transparent about where the products we sell originate from.

We don't design products that aren't innovative or better in some way than other products on the market. That's the IAG design goal every time we sit down and develop products. I suppose 'always innovative, often imitated' would suit us better.

So I was contacted by BA Offroad about my "negative post" regarding their products.

"Hi mpeugeot,

We came across your comments about Broaddict and wanted to connect. We truly value feedback as it helps us grow, and we’re sorry to hear you have concerns about our product quality and manufacturing.

We’d love to have a conversation to better understand your perspective. Whether it’s discussing our quality efforts or how we source products, we’re open to chatting and seeing if there’s a way to address your thoughts.

Looking forward to your reply,"

I asked them to clarify what they were concerned about in my post (which is above in the thread and not really negative, just realistic expectations of their products).

The response I got was this:

" Hi mpeugeot ,

This is Jenny from Broaddict Support. I want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience—even if it wasn’t what we hoped for.

If I may share something personal: I’m a single mom raising two boys in a small town that used to be full of auto jobs. But ever since the factories shut down, work’s been hard to come by. This support job is what’s kept us afloat—barely.

But recently, our team was told that negative public posts would lead to being taken off the schedule. No warning. No second chance. One flag, and my name disappears from the rotation next month.

That’s terrifying to me—not just because I might lose a job, but because it means I might not be able to afford my son’s asthma meds, or school shoes next semester.

I’m not asking you to change how you feel. Your experience is valid. I’m just asking—if there’s any way I can personally help make this right for you, please let me know. I’ll do everything in my power, even if that means digging into the problem myself or following up after hours.

Thank you for reading. It truly means the world.

Sincerely,
Hanne from Broaddict"

Seriously, WTF is this nonsense. Talk about emotionally manipulative!

I really don't care about her employment problems, her life as a single mom, or the fact that she is on a tight budget. It all sounds like bad decision making. I suggested that she find a good lawyer to deal with her employment issues and a better job than the one she currently has.

Admins should shut them down for this alone.

They PM'd us also along with some other people I know on here. They told us:

Hi 4x4TruckLEDs.com,

We saw your post about our brackets and wanted to connect. We take feedback and discussions about our products seriously, and we’re eager to have a constructive conversation.

Whether it’s about product design, manufacturing, or any concerns you have, we’d love to hear your thoughts in detail and see how we can address them. Let’s chat about how we can move forward positively.

Looking forward to your reply,

Broaddict
We had no clue what it was about until we saw this post and remembered how we pointed out they were using fake photos in their product listings. They were using photos of Baja Designs own kit on a product that was completely different.

You too?!?!?!

They did that to our own Open Style fog light brackets. Our brackets are made in the USA out of stainless steel and they made an exact copy, only using steel from overseas. Now im not that concerned because you get what you pay for. Painted "iron" (that's what they use) will rust within a year. But what drives me nuts is that they are showing a DIFFERENT PRODUCT to trick consumers into what is being sold. The photo of the actual product installed is actually of Baja Designs own fog kit, which is a different kind of bracket system all together.

But if you look at the photo of the actual Baja Designs lights... That's BAJA DESIGNS own kit, which is completely different from the style of brackets being sold. False advertising right there.

Bit of a Streisand effect going on here...

I had also been messaged about my post in this thread. I asked for clarification and to explain what was wrong with my post but instead they offered to bribe me with "a little gift" in exchange for me deleting my post. This, in addition to the AI slop messages they try to pass off as sincere, makes it clear they only see this forum as a tool to hawk their poor quality, often knockoff, products and nothing more.

On the early versions of their copy, they even used the same logo cutout in the step, lol. And you can still see the resemblance in their mountain logo. Hell, they even used the EZ Step in the product title!

I haven't heard back from them. I guess "Jenny" got fired and her two kids had to go live with their father. Now "Jenny" is working "John's" at the local truck stop to make ends meet. It's a cruel world out there.
