Took me a few years to get into IPAs. Started liking them around 30 (35 now) but liver....oh damn...liver...it may be my poor Canadian maritimer roots but I've loved liver forever. Whenever my wife is away for dinner it's liver and onions night! Like a lactose IPA I soak my liver in milk before cooking it. Takes away a bit of that bitter/metallic taste.
I love
Me some liver and onions...

It was a staple in my house growing up..
Probably because it was cheap...
but it’s good...

I live in philly. Pennsylvania is a big brewery area. And IPAs reign king
I'll keep an eye out for that focal banger

I plan to take a road trip next year to your area with the Bronco because I hear good things about your breweries ?
Love to hear it, love the hoagies and wooder down there in Philly!! Check out Hill Farmstead Brewery - best of the best. In the middle of nowhere, but that’s VT for ya

I find most IPAs to be much more approachable now. That could have been my tastebuds changing too but I find brewers aren't trying to out-IPA each other now.
Oh I agree 100%. When I first started giving them a try I was NOT about it. I love a good double these days. I still love a cold Coors light though. When the mountains are blue...

Love IPAs. Just got back from Resident Culture and Heist Brewery in Charlotte, NC. Hill Farmstead Brewery is great as mentioned by VTBronco.

When I consume a lot of beer, I feel bloated, tired, and guilt from all the calorie consumption. So i gravitated to the higher abv beers so that i "get there" quicker with less bloaty liquid going into my body

How the heck is this thread still a General Bronco Topic and not Off Topic Thread. I mean if we are arguing between SFA and IPA, it make sense.

Doug must be slipping ;)

I was drinking a 8% DIPA earlier. I have a couple $100 worth sitting in my stash. Single and Double variants. It is an acquired taste. Btw Hubbard's Cave is legit
