I just realized something, and it has nothing to do with this. Throw in the fact that I'm too lazy to find a good place for it. But.....

I don't like the Badlands grille. All those tiny slots?!?! it looks too car-ish. Doesn't matter much because I'm looking either squatched Base, or Big Bend... but yeah, that grille I'd expect on the OuterBanks trim.

That's my thought for the day
Heresy!

That is the only grill that comes close to looking like the original 1966 Bronco.

Sooooo could it be that B&P is delayed because of the petition to add manual Sasquatch? I’m sure that would add a whole other layer of stuff to add.
That is a minor data base change, not a big deal at all. Most likely they continue to try to figure out pricing for packages, options and accessories, those changes will take longer.

I'll do ya one better @North7, my Bronco love affair began with my 1st Bronco, a 1984 FSB. Longer, wider slots. That is the type of grille I prefer. Like I said, those tiny little slots and so many of them, make me think of every car on the market right now.

Funny thing is, at 1st reveal people went nuts over this grille or that one and I paid no attention to it. All of a sudden, today I go to BN to see if color walkthru happened yet (I know, don't hate me, but maybe linked to B&P?!?!) and I see that grille on the Bronco's in their latest news section. And it hit me. Maybe it's because they don't square off the total slots or something... idk.

Edit: Also just noticed the slots don't line up!! So where is your original look now? WTF??

Might be a small website change, likely a very large configuration management change, with lots of meetings and associated paperwork. I'm not sure what drove the original "no manual with Sasquatch" position, but changing the decision would probably require a lot of paperwork and coordination.

I suspect an Aftermarket grill company will quickly bring a replacement grill to market that looks closer to the original.

Not to get off topic, but in the spirit of waiting another hour for build & Price to go active. My personal grille preference would be the Wildtrak, still hopefull that's the one going on the FE.

Completely agree, been there, done that, but since it has leaked that this is a possibility, most of the meetings and decisions may have already been made. Now it is a simple change to hand to the webteam.

When I handled a product line we had hundreds of part numbers, configurations and options, when I needed a change, after the meetings and approvals were done, it was a simple update to my spreadsheet and I handed it off to marketing. Any further paperwork as far as configuration documents, engineering drawings, software changes to the product itself, all that was done either in parallel or after the fact.

Badlands 2dr reserved but considering Outer Banks now as I like the colored flares...but I like the Badlands grille better than the Outer Banks grille...do you think that it will be possible to swap grilles aftermarket?

Absolutely, the Ford parts department will be happy to see you or the Aftermarket will have many of their own designs.

It's becoming a cruel joke at this point. Seriously, you know Ford knows that we are clamoring.. .and they aren't acknowledging it or giving us ANY freaking info... it's infuriating, the lack of communications.

I'd say the Base or BD grille look the most OG.
