My best guess is that is damaged and they are rushing it to paint and body or waiting for parts.

Some dealerships have a 5 day pickup policy. You miss the window and they can sell out from under you. I recommend you get to the dealer asap if you have any interest in buying it.

Judging by the stories of shady dealers, especially in and around SC, I would definitely go see the dealer, in person. Don't give them any reason to sell it without it going to you and only you.

Yeah Ford has, I can't remember but I want to say 10 days? After that the dealers can sell it from out from under you.
