Bronco delivered today!

The person they sent is was a FSE (field service engineer). These guys get called in when dealers have issues fixing/diagnosing problems when tech service hotline can't help anymore. Each sales region has one or more assigned to it and do a handful of on site visits every year.

I wouldn't get real worried about what he was looking at since it was probably just a routine quality inspection. Even though we do a PDI, this is a new launch and they want to have an additional set of eyes on everything.

Just got a call from my Ford dealer that my Bronco is being delivered today! Blend was 6/22, built 6/23, and should be able to pick it up today! They are saying they are being required to have a Ford service engineer inspect it first though.

And Just got another call that the truck made it to the Ford dealer!!

Do I wait for this Ford engineer to do his inspection, or do I leave work now?

RUN 4 SURE GO GET IT! CONGRATULATIONS!

Yeah, our silver Expedition EL 4x4 can be seen on the other side of the Bronco in some of the pictures. My 4 older girls rode home from the dealer with me, while my wife and toddler rode home in the Expy.

It’s funny how everyone forgets about the truckload of Sasquatch parts that was rejected. I’m glad they are double and triple checking these things.

Seems like they need to triple check the tops with the crappy ones that’s been sent out so far.

Tracker still says "In Transit". It wasn't completely out of the blue though. I found out from from the dealer that even though the sticker says convoy, it was on a rail car headed down to STL, then convoy from there. So I had the rail car number, and I was calling Norfolk southern tracing line "several" times a day. So I knew when the rail car had arrived down here. Then when I checked palsapp.com this morning I saw the shipping information had populated, and about an hour later said it had been dispatched. So I knew it was on it's way.

Does the Shipped # change? The suspense is killing me. That showed up yesterday on my tracker.
