Be careful with cerakote on the trim. It can go very badly. Google it and you will see lots of posts where it didn't work out. I had to replace my fender flares because they turned cloudy and there was no way to remove it. I'm grateful I didn't put it on my top too.
Application error maybe or too much product applied possibly. Maybe not letting it cure appropriately. Could be a lot of things. But I use it on 4 different cars and never had any of those issues. First I tested it on my ā€˜08 Escape that stays on the driveway and takes a daily beating under the SoCal sun and this product was the only one that could restore the trim to like new/original condition. To each their own, but yeah absolutely YMMV and thatā€™s true for everything you try. Cheers.

It was 107 degrees when I put it on. I agree application error contributed to the problem. It is a very unforgiving product. I didnā€™t realize how many folks have had problems until I searched for ways to remove it
