I spray Griot’s 3 in 1 ceramic spray on everything. Except cloth. This stuff works great. AM pre spray even prevents hemorrhoids. Seriously. This is a very good product.

Why does everybody keep over thinking this? Just use every day soap and water. My mic top is 9 months old and still looks new.
The sun is brutal in Colorado. Paint on houses cars everything takes a beating. Living back in PA never worried to much about it. Out here it is hard on paint and cars.

I coated my paint and the top with CQuartz Lite. Wipe on, wipe off ceramic. Worked well and so far, so good.

Griot’s, Meguiar’s, 303. Take you pick. Cerakote just came out with automotive coatings. I gave them a try and have to say I’m beyond impressed. Their trim kit is as serious a UV protectant as you’ll ever find. Amazing stuff that repels dirt, mud, and will not wash off for MONTHS. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny. Check it out.

This is what I used on my MIC top after washing it for the first time. Have not had to reapply in 7 months so far. That and I used 303 for the rubber seals all around the truck. Great stuff too.

Wash it, try to keep it outta th' sun.
Enough sun and water will destroy anything and everything.

It's (hopefully) funny, sarcastic and true: I cover my hardtop in dust, sometimes mud, if I'm lucky enough. I wash it off and repeat.

To many people don't seem to understand the protective power of dirt. And now for those who can't get to the mud, mud can get to you! Yes, from the makers of Spray On Mud for the discerning GSA Dentist, we now have Spray on Mud for the discerning 4x4 Mall Crawler!

I’ve been using this with no issues. Can also be applied to wet vehicle and rinsed off.

I ceramic coated the hardtop when I first got my Bronco. After washes I use Technicians choice ceramic spray on the hardtop. Very happy with the results.

Since the hard top has clearcoat on it would this be maintained with wax like a normal paint job ?
Use same product you use on unpainted "black" plastic exterior panels.

Unless you got a painted modular top. Then treat with a polish or ceramic coat it. But only if it is in fact painted

Sun is brutal in FL too. I use 303 protectant. On the top and flares. Seems to work well.

I use Turtle Wax ceramic synthetic wax on the whole vehicle. I wash, rinse, then spray the vehicle with the wax, then dry ;)

Here’s a good comparison test of products for automotive trim protection. I’ve never tried 303 Aerospace myself, but it isn’t impressive in these tests.
