when I was out there in Sept it was only 104 on the strip, but at least up at base camp its nice up until later in the afternoon with the higher elevation.

I was informed today that they will not do Raptor vehicle verification and make your credit available until you take delivery. Is that everyone else's experience? Anyone with one on order been able to be verified?

Quite the opposite, they want us all to load up on guests. They are a for-profit company, right?
They might be trying to be a for-profit company but I think that they’ve priced themselves out of the market. The cost to these guys to have my better half ride along is next to zero, yet they are charging $1k. This is nothing but an attempted money grab directed at who they perceive to be people who will pay it, Raptor owners.
But then again maybe I’m wrong and this will make them money hand over fist and turn them into billionaires who get lost in a submarine on a trip to visit Titanic.
