my back ordered oem racks finally came in and i got rid of the trash bridgestones that came on my base model.

replaced with 285/75/16 KO2s. (~8% rolling diameter increase for the nerds) mounted on the love them or leave them steelies - my tire guy was HATING lol

for next mods i’m thinking about:

- very mild leveling kit <2”
- one of those tune boxes for a bit more ummph(probably gonna do a custom downpipe too)
- black bronco script badges and the black horse for the gate.
- non-molded mudflaps. think dakar rally, not groceries trip.

recommendations for above welcome.

Man, i dig the gold… i got a shadow black black diamond n i think they’d look killer… ima hang on to my steelies for a bit but DANG nice rig thanx for the response… I’m assuming u have a Sasquatch?.. Big Bend? Did u have to lift it for the 37s?
They’d look sweet on black, too!

This Bronco is a non-squatch Big Bend with open diffs. Definitely not the spec I would custom order, but love it all the same.

The only lift is the King 2.5 coilovers, which are awesome. I don’t remember the exact number, but think they are 2-3 inches of lift over stock. I’ll have to go back and find the pics of before & after when I’ve got more time.

I'm glad I took a look at this site today. I do not have a new Bronco reservation or a n order at this point. But looking forward to ordering a 2 door once I'm closer to or finished with my 76 restore. Here are a few pictures of the 76 before tear down.

I've also been holding out ordering a new 2 door, waiting and hoping for the return of the modular top option. I want to build an all Oxford white (white top and flairs) Badsquach. And add Orange Special Decor stripes like my 76. With release of the heritage edition, there is hope for that mod top on all model in the near future. However that white over red heritage is very tempting.

Great thread. 2 door all the way.

Great looking EB!

Once ordering opens back up you might want to jump and get in line. It'll probably be at my 3 year mark by the time I get my 2dr. HE.

My 2 door Base on the left in the first picture and my buddies WildTrak on the right. We were both first month reservations, and his came in last January and mine in June.

Do you have a lift or a leveling kit? I order badlands on 33’s but yours is so much taller and stocky looking.

If you could how Expensive is the Readlift and how much lift, I like the stance. I’m 10/31 build badlands on 33’.

No lift it’s the driveway. We both have the Sasquatch package.

2” lift $249. ReadyLift
285/75/16’s on stock wheels, puts the truck at 19” off the ground.

Ha! Thanks for the compliment. I’m really happy with how this Bronco has come together. I’m not normally a fan of “gold” on anything, but I absolutely love these wheels with the Race Red. We parked next to a Velocity Blue 2 door last weekend and the gold would look awesome on that, too.

The tires are 37” BFG Mud Terrain KM3’s on Black Rhino Primm beadlocks. Wheels are 17x8.5, 0 offset. One thing that surprised me was how much bigger they look on the Bronco in person. Pics really don’t do it justice. They are massive!

Are these the regular bronco flares? (Non-sas) I think that is part of what makes your bronco look so good. The SAS flares just don't look good at all.

Never thought such big tires would look good on these, but your bronco is sick.

Woot woot! My 7/14/2020 reservation was finally scheduled for a 10/31/22 build week. So with some luck my long lost love will be home by the end of Dec.

I’ve had a set of RTR wheels, a Goose Gear tailgate table & a variety of other small accessories in my garage for a year. Time to order some tires, tie rod sleeves and maybe some GRT perch collars!

It’s difficult to explain to non-Bronco people how emotional this ride has been. ⚡🤘⚡

edit: build week pushed to 11/14 > pushed again to 11/28

Congratulations on your two door score, well worth the wait. I ordered the same day as you have had mine for a year now.

Thanks for the compliment! I know my look isn’t for everyone, but it really turned out better than I had hoped for.

Also, they are the non-SAS flares. Poke is roughly 3” with these on, but I like it.

One thing that doesn’t come across well in most pics is how big the 2-door broncos really are, especially with big tires. Here’s a pic of it back-to-back with our 4Runner with the same King 2.5 coilovers. For reference, the 4Runner only has 285/70 KO2’s. The Bronco is a Hulk in comparison.
