This is why I purchased the 17" steelies, for when I really want to get stupid and bang about.

How else can you get a full set of 5 tires and rims (nearly new) for $600. Especially today!

I have noticed some of the aftermarket rims appear to 'tuck in' a bit further so the tire would keep most things off the rims. Doesn't protect against rocks smaller than the circumference of the wheel, but could be an option.

That's a problem with the "trim rings" on the bead lock capable wheels, even if the tire is molded with a rim protector it's not wide enough to protect them - they just stick out too far.

Best way to prevent wheel damage is by not hitting things.

But if that fails, having more sidewall poke out past the wheel face helps a lot. Airing down helps with that as well.

That damage was superficial, and I've never in all my life known anyone to need to bang out their steel rims.

But I still like your steel wheels!

Can't wait to be part of this group. I think the two-door is much better looking than the four-door. However, both are awesome!

my back ordered oem racks finally came in and i got rid of the trash bridgestones that came on my base model.

replaced with 285/75/16 KO2s. (~8% rolling diameter increase for the nerds) mounted on the love them or leave them steelies - my tire guy was HATING lol


for next mods i’m thinking about:

- very mild leveling kit <2”
- one of those tune boxes for a bit more ummph(probably gonna do a custom downpipe too)
- black bronco script badges and the black horse for the gate.
- non-molded mudflaps. think dakar rally, not groceries trip.

recommendations for above welcome.

I hear Ford can install their new subwoofer and tie it into existing sound system. I installed the JBL soundbar to the 'C' pillar, also installed the Rokblokz mud flaps on the front only. Put the black Bronco scropt where the Badlands badge was & replaced chrome with black Bronco on gate.

Different strokes... love my Badlands: stabilizerbardisconnect, both ELD's. Wanted Antimatter Blue for '21 but got pushed to '22, took Velocity Blue. The 2dr looks so good with all tops off 2.3 or 2.7?
