It sucks but there's always teething problems. If true, it's crazy that Icon didn't supply casting info for side and even crazier the caster arbitrarily added it.
FWIW, it was your unfortunate experience yet adding to group wisdom that aided others. Myself included..... She's getting them installed (correctly) as we speak as I'm staring down a spinal surgery and unable to wrench.

4' lift looks bad-ass! The Race Red Ford Fusion looks like a smooshed little exotic next to a lifted 2-door Bronco!
Agreed, welcome to the aftermarket maturation of a new platform. I’m 100% confident that I’m not the only one who installed or had them installed backwards. I’m not much of a mechanic, I’m sure it would not be hard to swap them. However since I don’t have a boot clamping tool, prior experience pulling a tie rod, and it would need a new alignment I plan to take it to a trusted shop and have it done. Just salty about the time & additional $ to make it happen.
Happy to help you get them installed “correctly”, let’s hope we actually know Left from Right now.
Good luck with your surgery, that’s no fun.
