I have no affiliation, it popped up in my email. Thought it was cool, a Bronco themed Glock

Interesting. I like the custom Bronco design. Since you’re a gunsmith, maybe you can answer a few questions?

How is the custom design applied (e.g., etched, engraved), and is the custom design durable? How does that price compare to similar Glocks with custom designs?

The listed price is about 2x the cost of my G17 Gen5, purchased a few years ago. Trying to figure out if that additional cost is truly for the custom design, or part for the custom design and part for simple, first-to-market Bronco tax?

Good questions, I will look into it and report back.

The slide is laser engraved, it'll probably outlast us. :)

The grip "lower", likely the same but IDK for certain
Only other custom part I see are the sights. Ameri-glo sights are good but I prefer tridium sights (rmrs are better LOL)
$550 for a g19
>$300 for engraving the whole gun
$40 for ameri-glo sights
=
$890
+
$100 Bronco tax

Too spendy for me;
If you have the money and a forgiving spouse, go for it

Thanks for looking that information up and providing feedback. (y)

If I bought it, it would just be held as a collectible. The G19 grip is a little too small for my hands. I can palm a basketball; hence the G17 with the large, beavertail backstrap. On the G19, my pinky grip is too weak. If they offered that design in a G17, I would probably use it and not just keep it as a collectible.
