Damn. I could have sworn all of the manuals were $99 from that site...now it's $129.99 for 2021. Maybe I missed a sale or something? Also, think it's best just to buy the most recent instead of 2021? Considering it's more accurate and nothing detrimental should have changed. The 2024 is $129.99 and the 2023 is $99.99. Strange.

I updated the transmission pan torque sequence image to indicate the location of the pan studs (6 of them with a 13MM head) versus the pan bolts (12 of them with an 8MM head). The stud locations are circled in red.

@swamp2 + @Poppavein - I am still working on the 3.0L and 2.3L torque values that you sent me. I will ping you when I am close.

Such a large and fantastic effort. Take your time. If available I'll take to my mechanic on Monday for my spring spacers 🤘.

22 ft-lb or 30 nm.

Added along with the torque pattern (on the wheels tab).

Be sure to remove the yellow thread locker from the bolt threads and add a bit of anti-seize to them.

@swamp2 - I have started adding the 3.0 Raptor only torque values in bold red in the sheet. Once I have all of them, I will delete the common values so the Raptor tab only has the unique to Raptor torque values.

@Poppavein - the 2.3L stuff is on deck after the Raptor work is completed.

Howdy @CarbonSteel . Did you lose steam on the 2.3 and 3.0 additions?

Alternatively a PDF version of the factory service manual with all diagrams, install procedures, torque specs, etc would suffice. 😉

On the front axle it says to discard the drain and fill plug and get new ones. I thought these were reusable.

They are (more or less) standard pipe plugs--totally reusable though Ford says to discard them.

Been looking at this for removing underbody shields to clean out stuck mud and I am curious if the skid plate numbers are accurate. I found this article - https://performanceparts.ford.com/download/instructionsheets/IS_M-5018-BR4_043024.PDF - that references torquing all skid plate bolts to 35 ft-lb but the document here says 35 Nm.

Can someone double check if they have other references?
Reviewing my service manual now and will be making some edits to the torque guide. The values in the torque guide came from a general statement in the service manual. I will edit and add the values for each skid plate.

@jahwild - now updated. Thanks for calling this out. Please let me know if you see anything that I missed.
