Sweet!

You blew my mind with the blacked out letters. Not sure why I never considered it as I normally like all trim to be black. Still, oddly, not sure I'd change ours.

Also, the hood reminds me of a (more aggressive) FJ. Very nice.

Regarding the alpines mounted off the rail: they look very effective. Do you mind the reduced visibility? After the poor visibility in my FJ, I'm a little mindful of the rear view. Any worries about people trying to take them? Did you take any steps there?

Everything looks amazing. Can't give it enough praise.
Took a pic from rear view for you. As you can see, lots of visibility still.

Thank you!

To your questions...

My buddy has an FJ, so I know what you are talking about. Reduced visibility hasn't been an issue. A little more than usual but the middle gap is still very good so it's not a problem at all. (The JBL Soundbar that Ford had was way worse as it covered the entire view.)
Glad to hear that and glad to know this one is better in that regard.
Security... yeah, I worry about it especially with an open top and I only have a soft top. I don't the Bronco if I go into the city, but here in the burbs I feel pretty good about it. As you all know, any Bronco right now gets looks from people so hopefully someone sees them and at least calls 911. :) Thieves would need to have the right tools to come in and take them. I thought about Loctite glue but the end of the day, if they want them, I don't want them to smash the car up while they are trying to figure out how to get them.
Good points. When it comes to an open top, they may be looking for easy takes like stuff they can just grab and not walking around with a toolbox as you said.

Thanks!

Had my Bronco for 4 months now. Originally wanted First Edition but didn’t make the list. Then I heard about the Raptor and tried for that. Of course, never had a chance and was left with no Bronco and a long wait.

But then I saw a posting at a local Ford Dealership. Thought it was fake… Big Bend in A51. Not my first choice but after I took it for a test spin I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It was the dealer’s mannequin and it was the first week it was available to sell. While I was test driving it, others were calling on it around the country. $5k ADM only and this was back in March.

So I pulled the trigger and honestly, like the Garth Brooks song, thank god for unanswered prayers… It’s been great using the money I thought I was going to spend on a FE or Raptor on customizing my very own Bronco. So those out there that are frustrated and upset, fret not. It will come and you will enjoy it when it does.

Katzkins have basically 2 prices. Non Custom and Custom. The Custom is about $2k and non-customer is $1,600-ish. I also added heated seats and tried to add AC through the seats too but my installer said the AC would be too bulky although I saw others on the forum do it. Each seat warmer adds like $400 or so to the balance. But $2k is pretty good I think for custom. You can play with their website too and get an idea of all the options they have. I highly recommend.

P.S.
In some markets they have vans with installers that drive to your house and do it right there. Chicago market has that so it was super easy.
Thanks for your feedback and information... again it looks amazing!!!

Fantastic job! I am especially intrigued by the tonneau cover modification. Any more pics, walkthroughs, etc, on that process. Thanks!
Some pics for you. Super easy.

Cut the straps off the Tonneau cover.

On the otherside of the Tonneau cover where the small flap is, I loctite glued 4 separate suction cups.
That’s it. Works like a charm.

Ahhh I have the double diamond katKins on my wishlist! The a51 wasn't my first choice either but I've grown to love it. Where in IL are you? I'm in StL Metro East.
Great build!!
Western burbs of Chicago near St. Charles. And people tell me all the time how much they love the color. I think 30 years from now, it’ll be the throwback color for retro 10th Gen Broncos. 😂

I like this a lot. Thinking this is the best option I’ve seen anywhere. Thanks for the extra pics and post!

I didn’t get any tracking info 🤷‍♂️ But he said they were going out with the shipment and I should see it Friday/Sat. I did get the accessory mount on both and a tailight extender on one. Right now nothing planned. I’m wanting at least 2Gal water tank on one. Really would like the first aid pak. But on rotopak’s site it is not yet available. The 2/3 Gal of fuel for us really isn’t an issue for our Michigan trail rides. But I can see myself using it for lawn mower gas and not having to put a can inside the bronco.
Looking for this?
You'll have to add your own first aid supplies; not sure they're going to do that for you.

I haven’t seen the black one👍 I was looking at the Hi vis orange one for about half that price. I might not even add anything there is. It much room back there with a 37” tire.

I didn't know they had on orange one with a door! Perhaps I'll wait for that... but then again, I'd use mine for recovery gear so maybe black would be better.

My Hammerbilt came in on Friday after I left for the trails.
However, I'm going to wait until my @TrailRax comes in to do it all at once.
Also waiting for my Rotopax items to come in to do it all together.
