Build Date question?

I reached out to my dealer today regarding the email many of us just received from Ford, and was very surprised when he replied by saying; "I just checked and I do know your order has been scheduled. Build date is 10/20/2022"

So, my question to the group is, will this be a MY22 or MY23 Bronco? Also, what is the typical timeframe from "build date" to "delivery"?

Well, my scheduled build date was 8/5 actual was 8/9. Ford says it has shipped. I am still waiting for it to make it to my dealer in SoCal.

That would by an MY22.

10/20 is probably your blend date, or maybe 10/21. Built is a few days later. Built/Finished will probably be about the 25th or 26th.

After that, it's normally 3-4 weeks to your dealer, unless you are one of the lucky ones who gets delivery by convoy instead of choo-choo train.

I listed the timeline of my order in post #10 of this thread, if you're interested.

Mine was built in December of 2021 and didn't achieve the status of "Built" until Dec 23, but it is definitely a 2021 Bronco.

If you have a build week, you have a VIN. If you have a VIN at this time, you have a 2022. Your build week may slip in either direction... delayed, or bumped up sooner.
