That's also the base motor for F150, so only the transmission is an upgrade. A bit apples to oranges there.
Bronco base build is 2.3, MT. Upgrading either (or both as they are linked for early '21 MY) incurs charges.
WRONG.Nope.
That is a 2.7 V6 upgrade from the base engine on a model that already includes the 10-speed transmission.
Go to the Mustang. Select the auto transmission. It's free, right? Or $1,595?
I do, because managing the production of an automobile under the environment of a global pandemic has more priority than fixing a draft B&P function for the vehicle that's not yet available for retail sale. Ford said it was a draft B&P for the Bronco and said an official update will be issued in January to coincide with ordering.
I wasn't using a diversion tactic, I'm trying to get you to manage your expectations. You can't yet place an order for your Bronco, so why are you so upset that the B&P isn't correct, or has changed from an earlier draft? Just fucking relax and let it play out. Ford can adjust its pricing at anytime it wants. The only time the sales price is locked is when you have an artifact with your signature and the dealer's representative signature. So until that time comes, getting one's panties in a wad over the pricing in the B&P tool is wasted energy.
What?! There's no Santa Claus?! That's the last f'ing straw. I'm done with this g*ddamn forum!! ?Looking forward to reading all 52 pages of this tonight after work. Am amused that many people have called out the pricing irregularities in the early B&P over the past couple months but were routinely shot down by people that really wanted to believe in Santa Clause.
as for me, I just want to know when prices are final so I can make a rational choice here. Actually charging for an AT doesn’t seem outrageous to me though...
Annnd, she's an ancient classic with falsies and a bank account full of cashAnd remember, sometimes performance is more important than looks!
So is integrity. Saying B&P pricing on AT/2.7 was correct and a bargain, and then pulling this stunt....if it remains true....absolves FoMoCo of that latter designation.Never implied Ford is a charity. However, I am a businessman who understands how businesses operate; so I'm giving Ford the benefit of the doubt, rather than acting like a spoild child. Petulance is not a virtue; however, patience is.
Not sure which F-150 you're looking at, but the XL model I configure comes with the 3.3 V6 and the 10-speed auto as standard.WRONG.
It comes with a 6 speed auto transmission and gets the 2.7 and 10 speed for $995. This is the base configuration.
At best buy you would get it for 9$ because it's marked wrong. Ford isn't a mom and pop shop. The real metaphor is you ask someone who works there if that's the correct price. They say yes it's marked that way you scored! You walk around the store for an hour hauling this huge tv all stoked about it. Get to the register and they say 1500$. You say but you said 9$! They tell you to go put it back if you don't want it and happy holidays...I'm not saying it wasn't stupid. I'm just saying it was pretty obvious it wasn't correct. As someone who has shopped and owned other Ford vehicles, I tried to explain this. I also recommended that people getting the 2.7 in BL plan to add $1,595 to their build cost. If I was wrong, they'd be happy the actual cost was lower. But I've never seen a "buy an engine upgrade, get a transmission for free" in any vehicle. Neither have I seen an engine upgrade and transmission combo go for that low. But the real obvious point was that Ford sells that 10-speed auto upgrade for $1,595 on other models, so why would the same transmission upgrade be free on a Bronco?
You see a row of TV's, all priced in the hundreds and thousands, and there's one for $9, you know it ain't right. Even if the price says $9 for two months.
That's the ugliest interiorThis just made a Wildtrak $1,400 cheaper than my BL build...but that WT interior..ugh
I agree, but at this point for me the BL’s doesn’t make sense. I can live with the Wildtrak interior, and the think the black wheels look better. Just my opinion. That's the ugliest interior
Thanks! Wasn’t looking in that section, was just looking at the B&P optionsIt’s under the vehicle/trim description pages. Not the B&P.
I can see it under BB
I think I am going to end up next to you. None of the others trims are worth while now. I just really don't like the interior, but what else is there to do?I agree, but at this point for me the BL’s doesn’t make sense. I can live with the Wildtrak interior, and the think the black wheels look better. Just my opinion.
