Bvita's Bronco Raptor Build

This bronco replaced a 18'JLU Rubicon and previously coming from f150 raptors and Tacomas, figured this would be a great vehicle. It's been almost two years into owning this it and it's one of my favorites. Finally deciding to put together a thread to share it.

June 2024 - mounted a set of these Rays 05x with 37" Toyo RT Trails.
I have always had Rays / Volk Racing on a lot of my builds so it was a no brainer to continue the trend. These were a new product line from RaysMSC - Rays OffRoad, forged construction and made in Japan.

December 2025 -
I found a 2013 scab in terrain with 11k miles which was a fun vehicle along side the bronco.

Mid perch and threw on the oe bronco beadlock capable wheels and 37" ko2's

June 2025 - the stock bronco wheels were back on and RAD Designs Offroad hooked me up and sent me one of their billet 3rd brake / chase lights that uses a set of Baja Design s2's which adapt into the stock plastic 3rd brake light housing/surround.

July 2025 - threw in Eibach's 1" leveling springs and my new wheel/tire package came in.

Special ordered a set of Volk Te37xt's in Diamond Black and BFG Km3's. Tire Central in San Gabriel, CA has been my go to spot for mounting all of my wheels and has greatly taken care of everything.

September 2025 - wanted to update the front end a little bit more.
- Ordered ( R2DZ-17E810-YA 1X ) which is the black plastic fascia from the "Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package."
- Skid plate was powder coated satin black to match the bumper
- tow hooks lightly polished and powder coated gloss black.


Felt like the OE Rigid fog/aux light were not bright enough and I preferred Baja Designs more. Also wanted something a bit more different than the stock housing replacement s2 kit. Found these Next Venture Motorsports bracket which bolts into the stock bumper which allowed me to mount a pair of s2 pros as auxiliary lights and s2 sae as my fogs. Did this option since it allowed for more adjustment and I like the look of the opening instead of the stock surround thats usually there.

Late September / Early November 2025 - have always wanted to mount some Baja Design Lp6's for a build ever since they came out. I knew the lp6 shape would compliment the bronco with the round headlights. Current market offerings and aftermarket bumpers were not my style and not a consideration.

I reached out to my fabricator with a couple photos of different mounts and let him work his magic. I really wanted a mount that sat as low as possible, as close as possible to the grille, and tube as the main design. He knocked it out of the park with the final product in my opinion. I also requested for 4130 / chromoly material for the whole mount. Starting off with the main tube / light mounts, he ended up rolling the tube to get a very close match to the bumper curve which also give the lights a nice sleek profile since I wanted to avoid having a straight tube.

Took some time to get the perfect measurement and took a couple attempts to find the right spacing since real estate is pretty tight behind the lights to accommodate the deutsch connectors and wiring, but ended up with this miter to position the rolled tube perfectly. Then tied it into a standoff tube that was capped. Only using 3/4 mounting bolts as it seemed super secure, which also helped clean up the overall mount without having a bigger plate for the mounts.

Had the opportunity to display the Bronco at OC AutoShow too!

How is the noise from the KM3's on the interstate?

Not bad in my opinion. I’ve had other sets of km3’s make noise after being worn in a bit.

I’ve only experienced some minor rubbing in the rear by the mudflaps cruising around in the desert with it.
