Got out yesterday to do the same. Both the wife and I were impressed and settled on the color for our BD.

Ive seen both colors on sports at two different dealerships and I think both look better in person than photos. Cactus gray up here in gray cleveland looks darker and greener than picture, and has a cool glow to it under dealership lights at night. Area 51 is darker than most of the pictures I’ve seen really looks good with black accents.
if I was going badlands trim, I’d go cactus gray as it looks great with the carbonized gray accents. Wildtrak or OBX I’d go Area 51 for the black grill, mirrors and wheels.

Finally saw Cactus Gray in person today on a Ranger. After months of looking at pictures and deciding between that and carbonized it’s a no brainer for me! Pictures don’t do it justice. Now to decide between BD and BL! ?
I went to a local dealer and saw Cactus Grey on a Ranger today. Honestly, I was quite surprised at how much I liked it. Photos don’t seem to show the green hue or underlying color. I really like it and I think it will look great on the Bronco.
That same dealer has a Cyber Orange Ranger in transit and I will be looking at that before ordering to see how much I like it. Cactus Grey is now in the running and I thought for sure I was on Cyber Orange.
I also saw Velocity Blue and it did nothing for me. Definitely not in the running.

The area 51 looks like my wife's 2015 CX-5 blue. Found this guy in the parking lot at work by surprise.
The Catcus Gray was a special trip to a dealership so I can see it in person. Definitely has a concrete gray overtone. Looks good in person though in my opinion.
