Canvasback Cargo/Seat Protectors Install

I haven't seen anybody else post pictures of the Canvasback seatback/cargo protectors yet so figured I'd do a dump here. Very happy with the quality and overall fitment. I have the slide out tailgate and the covers are the perfect thickness to tuck neatly around all sides - I imagine it would be the same without the slide-out tailgate too. I just wanted something minimal to keep scratches off of the side panels (since they seem to scratch just by looking at them) and also wanted to keep dirt/dog hair easy to sweep up in the back. I think the seatback section goes for $90 and the side protectors go for $60-$65 depending if you want them solid or with cutouts for the cubby or subwoofer. I went with black but they offer quite a few colors too. I had just unboxed them so they still have some shipping creases but those should settle out shortly as they did on my wife's CRV:

It's the factory Ford slide out tailgate. Absolutely love it so far - I got it mainly so I can easily access the roof rack once I get one installed and also to level out the floor between the cargo space and rear seats. I like that it snaps and locks in place when fully closed/fully extended so you don't have to worry about it moving when sitting/standing on it. They also made the super-grippy rubber deck above it removable so you can still easily access the cargo storage bin beneath it. No negatives I can think of other than I guess you lose a few inches of cargo area height since it raises the floor level with the back seats, but that is actually much more of a "pro" than a "con" to me. I think it was a $600 option on the builder so it's not cheap, but IMO the quality and functionality are worth it - definitely glad I added it to my build.

That's a good idea since I will be worried about scratching the back of those sears.

Thanks for the post! This is a great idea. Just ordered the rear cargo side pieces and the rear door covers. Hopefully this will help my anxiety when one of the dogs decides to freak out while we are driving and they see a bird
