Capable Bumper LED conversion.

Has anyone made progress on this? I'm really interested in replacing my capable bumper OEM fogs with the Baja Designs Squadron-R SAE fog lights, but I haven't yet found a bracket mounting solution.

The Diode Dynamics lights from 4X4truckleds.com are great! These lights got me through a few blizzard commutes in December and January. The ambers are hooked up to my fog light switch and the whites are on my Aux switch #3.

Good to hear, looks great too. I’ve got those from the same vendor sitting in a box right next to a capable bumper I’m going to install. Now all I need is my Bronco (It should be here in a few weeks!).

That's great! I installed mine with the tires on; the video always shows a really cool shop with a lift and a bajillion tools. We have the tools though So crawling on a cold concrete floor in December was not fun. Instructions were straight forward. I ran the wires for the aux lights on the passenger side up behind the headlight and wire tied it along the other wire loom across the back of the radiator on the frame for a cleaner look. I think the instructions just say to run the extra wire up across the top of the bash plate. Hope your Bronco arrives soon--the wait is worth it!

The Diode Dynamics capable bumper fog brackets I have might work, with some slight modification, since the screw location on the Baja Designs Squadrons is lower than the DD SS3's center mount.

They worked well when I had the stock bumper.

I've got the Diode Dynamics Elite Fogs on my (sorta-) Capable Bumper, and they do exactly what fog lights should do, only better than the OEM weaklings.
And nobody flashes their high beams at me.

I put those on a couple of days ago. The Amazon user reviews and photos are a correct representation of the product.

They are bright and have good throw, forward and side to side. . Cutoff is good. They are many times better than the factory fogs.

Install is tedious but easy. You will spend most of your time undoing the 8mm bolts that hold on the plastic shield behind each light.

Test each light before you put the plastic shield back on, if the light doesn't come on, rotate the harness connector and try again.

I put these on. They’re brighter than the headlights. Basically light up the entire street at distances the stock headlights can’t reach. I won’t be turning them on in the city unless fog or rain makes it hard to see.
