Car shakes/vibrates, can feel it on the steering wheel. Not too severe, just annoying.

Only does it at red lights idle in Drive. Put the transmission in Neutral the vibrate stops.
Vibrate stops then the car moves. Drives normal, no check engine light, no other issues.

Torque converter? Transmission fluid? Any simple things to check without going to the dealership?

When you put the Bronco into gear, the idle drops so the engine must be running a bit rough. Back into neutral and the idle goes up and the engine smooths out. About all you can do is look for a loose hose or something. Not really transmission related.

Thanks. I will check out the engine bay for anything that is out of the ordinary. I also plan to disconnect the battery to do a reset.

I have found that my 2.7 Bronco is sensitive to bad gas (I.e., gas with water or other junk in it). Idles rough kinda like you say. I’ve learned that some water-remover treatment in the tank helps greatly - I use HEET brand.

Thanks buddy. I picked one up at AutoZone, it worked like a charm after a few miles in. Vibration reduced significantly. I guess I should take a pause getting cheap gas at Costco lol.

It's definitely not a truck. SUV to be exact.
Wait, it has 6 lug wheels. What SUV. Has six lug wheels? And I consider the Tahoe/expedition class “SUV’” really light duty trucks with different bodies. I am so confused. Now the wrangler has 5 lug wheels…

A truck has a bed. No bed on my Bronco. Lugs have nothing to do with it.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.
