You should be fine going through a "touchless" wash. Anything else and I'd be concerned it could get ripped off if caught up in the spinning/dangling brushes.

In general, no one should ever use a non-touch less auto carwash. Swirl factories...

As others have said, don't go to a car wash as they are terrible for your vehicle. Find a way to do it yourself - I lived in apartments and then a condo for 20 years before meeting my wife and moving to a house. I have done everything from running a 100 foot house from my kitchen sink to the parking lot, to just having my own hose and hooking up to a hose bib by the dumpster, to wash my own vehicles ;)

Hand washers could be just as bad for your new paint. You don’t know what their towels have been through. How often they wash them, or replace them.
I watched a guy drop a towel and just pick it up and continue on. Obviously pulled my vehicle from the line. This was a few vehicles ago and haven't been to another hand wash since. A true detailing business I would have no issues with.

I've had a snorkel on my PW for more than a decade but it's too big to go into automatic washes. I've never been worried about it when I do the wash bays or driveway cleaning.

I also take my other cars to auto carwashes almost every time I fill them with gas during the winter (when it is above about 20 degrees) and I only use the touchless.

at a minimum I would change the intake from the front to the rear so high pressure water does not get sprayed down into it. I wouldn't worry too much about it getting ripped off-- if that were the case you would have the same concern off road with low hanging branches and brush.

We drive thru one almost every day. We just make sure the brushes are off. No issues here.
