Check Engine Light…

My check engine like just came on moments ago. Malfunction Indicator Lamp - Regulatory. Checked the ford app and says to check the fuel filler cap… which we dont have lol. Has anyone had this same alert? I tried searching and my results came up with different messages like misfire, turbo, or air temp issues. Thanks in advance!

Do you have an ODBII reader? If not, they are super cheap these days. Need the code to know anything.

Last person to have a check engine light on the Forum it was a loose spark plug connection.

I dont. I guess it could be anything. I’ll try and stop by the dealer first thing in the morning.

Go by a gas station and just insert the nozzle and remove it to make sure the flapper didn't hang open. Happens every once in a blue moon.

I was finally able to be seen after 3 weeks due to backlog. But they did run test and found that there was a leak with the evap canister. They ordered a replacement and reset the code. However, it has not come on since. I’m still waiting for it come in. I got about another 1k miles on her. I would take it in just so its documented.
