Mine does it in sport and normal. Haven't tried any other mode yet.

Weird, i wonder if it's a fuel injector issue. Id try to replicate and record it. Id also try all gears, crawl, reverse to see if anything changes then as well. Since it goes away, something changes. First i think the brake fully releases, then i think the fuel injector moderating itself before the turbo kicks in, then to bad gas. Then it could be electronics.
It's a new car and shouldnt be doing any of that. If it's nothing apparent take it in and see if it threw any codes

Good call. I'm going to attempt to capture video of when I leave work in 15. It doesn't happen on every cold start, which is why I haven't been able to do so. Strange enough it has only done it in either 1st or 2nd gear. Mostly first gear, though. Once it happens it "bucks", I disengage the clutch, re engage in 1st, then it doesn't come back until another, random, cold start.

Also, could it throw codes with no check engine light?

Thanks

Yes

Doesn't mean that it did, but any codes would get stored. You won't know until they check

Hmm didn't know that. That's a good thing though. I will call my dealer and set up an apt for them to scan it.

Whats the name of the scanner? ODB2 scanner?

Yeah mine has done the same since day one, very randomly, and only at cold start too. After it calms down, the Bronco drives fine with no other issues. But wondering for how long, though.

Before this thread I attempted to explain it to my dealer, but was really hard to put into words. I tried to capture it on my phone too, but since it's so random I haven't had a chance to do so. With that, I just shared this post with my dealer in hopes of shedding light on this. @Ford Motor Company
yeah, just at cold start

only real mod would be the A.S.S. Plug, but doubt thats causing any issues as it merely keeps it off. I go back to neutral and start again and its fine.

1700ish miles, not too worried, maybe a clutch upgrade will help like it does with the JL

Thank you, it REALLY didn't want to Google it
but all and all, well worth $100

my only other concern would be I clutch it in a bit reversing, nothing drastic, just dont wanna overshoot my spot and go into the garage.

1700ish and no other issues than the once in a blue moon bounce, could all be worse

Yup. Same here. It drives fine after the fact. Just so odd that it's such a random, occurrence.
