Did you get the OBX ones or paint the ones you had? And if you did paint the ones you had how did you prep the surface?

They are my factory ones. I took them to a shop and they did the prep and paint there. I will try and get some info on what had to be done.

This looks real good.
I am also looking to do the same including the side mirror caps and door handles.
I assume I can just order the OBX parts and might be just fine, if they are available?

Ouch!!!! Looks damn good. But $1000 is a lot of coin for painted fenders.
It will depend on the market conditions. There was a FE owner on Long Island that had his painted LB. His cost was $1200.

The OBX parts that you are alluding to (Body Color mirror caps/door handles) are just primer. You will still have to pay for paint.

There is a shop (BFN Truckshop) that offers already painted caps, door handles. A few people have already purchased them especially new WT owners who won't have the BC door handles on MY'22 or the black mirror caps.

Thanks for the info.
I will look into them and my other options.
I am also considering having the fender flares just LineX'd. It is a good look and more durable than paint, but we shall see.

Note my response above. I linked a post from their IG showing Eruption Green handles and Gloss Black mirror caps.
