Have a M in the 10th spot so still hoping for a MY21. Still no wonder sticker released yet for an alleged 11/1 build date. Just hoping I don’t get a weekend email again saying “ you’ve been pushed to January 2022, and a MY 22 is all we can do. Stay pumped!”

One of the 17 digits of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) — digit 10 — is the Vehicle Model Year, so they cannot simply switch you from 21MY to 22MY without issuing a new VIN.

Well, I have a feeling that is what happened because it no longer comes up and Ford cant find it either. I will find out tomorrow.

I can't take credit for discovering this but if you want to get confirmation of your build date directly from Ford use the Chat tool at https://performanceparts.ford.com/contact-us/ of course you will need your order # and VIN. It got confirmation in less than 2mins, of my build date. It does not guarantee the date won't slip but its a great tool to verify build date without the hassle of involving your sales rep.

Yea, just got the same thing this morning. I asked if they stopped giving people that information and they said they were instructed to direct people to that website from now on. Lame

They referred me back to the Ford Ordering page....which does not tell you production date. I guess it depends who is on the other end of the Chat

It did that to me yesterday for a little while, don't freak out... check one of the other trackers (ETIS,AEM,AsBuilt) or go into the recalls tracker and see if your VIN comes back as valid.

Thanks for the reassurance! I tried the other avenues and came back to the Ford site. It finally came back up. Ugh... this is the most intense, emotional rollercoster I have been on in recent memory.

The minute I saw this thread and saw it featured on the B6G main page, I knew this was going to end, sometimes things like this better stay hidden in build weeks topics and not be brought to Ford's attention like this.

Mine also. Confirmed last week. I'll check again next Friday. The day after it's supposed to get rolling.
