600 miles on my 2 door. Drove about 25 miles up a mountain on a completely paved road. Nothing extreme, parked to check out the view and coolant started spewing out everywhere while making a horribly sounding noise. Checked the radiator cap to find it slightly loose with coolant boiling over.
Any other ideas what this may be? Frustrated with @Ford Motor Company for not properly inspecting the radiator cap at delivery. Left me stranded on top of a 5,000 foot mountain with no cell service. Video below.
It’s a manual, so I kept the engine off and rolled it in neutral 5,000 ft down a California mountain so I could get cell service and have someone deliver me some coolant.
