Has anyone received the error “Coolant Over Temperature?” This happened today and I have an appointment tomorrow at my dealership. Wondering if anyone had a similar experience and a solution to share.

2.3 or 2.7?

No issues with mine but it’s only got ~1600 miles so far.

No issues here. Did you check the coolant level? Did the temperature gauge show hi temp or was it an alert that popped up?

The flappers in front of the radiator may not be opening up... had that happen on another ford car...

This happened to me today with my 23 WT (20K miles). Any update you can share? What did the dealer do? I used a scanner and got error code P0118 Sensor 1 Circuit High. There are 2 temp sensors, so my guess is that one of the sensors has a voltage or resistance issue. Could be the sensor or could be something wrong with the circuit...bad or loose wire etc. I was curious what your outcome was as I have the same messsage and low miles.
