Anyone have this issue? Looks to be on the passenger side only. I have seen it on other Broncos, but not all.

I have this issue on my passenger side as well, but not as bad as you. I might have caused it with SS3 ditch light install

Check to see if the rear of the cowl is sitting down in the groove in front of the windshield. It won’t sit down flush until the rear is in the right position. I had to fiddle with mine a bit to get it to sit flat after trimming for the ditch light wiring.

When I had my already cracked by a rock windshield replaced, the glass tech showed me how how he was replacing the cowl. He claimed to have done many of these already and even he installed the cowl like that. There's a very hard to see male/female tab set on the end that can be hard to seat. Mine looked like that after he was done, and then he took it back of and corrected it.

Thanks for the info. Did he have to remove the windshield wiper arms so that he could readjust?

No, the wiper arm doesn’t need to be removed.

I have the same problem on the passenger side and the dealership took pictures and sent them to Ford. They got the ok to replace the cowl and am now waiting for the replacement to arrive.

Please update once you get done with the dealer. I would really like to know if this fixes the problem. Thanks!

I had the same problem when I took delivery last October. It was warped from the factory, replaced under warranty.

Quick update. As you guys have stated, dealer turned it in as a warranty issue ordered a new cowl. Put it on and it fixed the problem. Thanks!

I've had this issue on my passenger side for a while and I've been intending to have my dealer take a look at the next oil change. It interferes with the hood opening and I worry it will either break or scratch up the hood. In the meantime I measured and 3d printed a custom plastic collar that holds the trim down using pressure from the antenna. I'll print another in black but used this flashy filament b/c it was already loaded and easier to see how it fit up on the bronco.

I may add just a little more of a shoulder at the bottom to perfect the fit, but this version will at least let me open the hood cleanly. If anyone would like a copy of the .stl file, PM me and I'll share it. If there's a lot of interest I'll create a post with a link.

Mine has that problem real bad. It happened when I installed some ditch lights. Mind you, I used plastic prying tools and I didn’t use a lot of force. Took it to the dealership and the service advisor said the plastic was warped and that I need a new cowl. Probably happened when I installed the lights because it never had a gap. So yea, I’m assuming they’ve been seeing that lately…
