April Fools? This isn't 4/1. Drive 35 on a freeway and you will get a ticket. 55-65 is just fine for 500. I wouldn't hit the speed limiter 101 until at least 1000 miles in.
Allow me to introduce you to the sarcasm tag. It is used to designate sarcasm when one is being sarcastic.

This was my break in period. Just at 700 miles I took it off roading. Got it stuck (high centered) and had to be drug up another hill.

As to highway driving. Just don't set it on cruise and forget it. Very the speed a little. That is I have ever done.

This was the break in for my truck at 500 miles.

And if you can the blue roads would be best .

You can do your first oil change whenever you want, even up to 5000 miles or so. Seriously. The Bronco like many other new cars knows when it wants changed and will tell you so. 32k in over 18 months with only 3 oil changes to date.

But, do use full synthetic or at leat a good blend that uses Schaffer Oil raw stock or their branded oil.
Ditto here and totally echo Synthetic oil. Will switch to synthetic at the first oil change forward since I plan to keep the Bronco.

Modern engines know much better than we do. Even 20 years old practices have no real use today.

We are at the end of life for ICE engines, they've never been as well made or efficient as today. The use of redundant sensors catch most issues long before they become a real problem. Sure there are exceptions, but we shouldn't worry much. Plus, Ford is one of the best modern engine makers and I put them up there with the Germans.

Just bring essentials for a road trip and enjoy yourself, maybe get an oil change at 1000 miles to be safe.

Best of luck and have a safe trip, Dirty Harry!
