Is anyone having issues with their cruise control? When cruise control is set and I push the decelerate button, sometime it will not decelerate. The set speed flashes on the dash, as I hold down the button to decelerate. I have to either cancel cruise control or press the brake and reset the speed to have the decelerate button work again. This seems to happen randomley. Not sure if it is software or hardware related. I searched the forums for this issue but did not see any info on the issue.

No idea if it matters, but might get you more focused responses.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

I have no issues with my standard cruise but when I use my adaptive cruise I'm having significant issues.

I’m also having issues with my Standard cruise control. Dealers have replaced the BCM and did a number of things and cannot fix it. When I click the cruise it just crosses out on screen and doesn’t activate. Anybody else having this problem?

Mine does this, but pretty sure it's because I have my tire size set too large for speedometer calibration and I need to tweak it.

I've also heard of other people where they had upgraded their gear ratios but hadn't reprogrammed to reflect the new ratio, and cruise control not liking that.

Yeah I’m on 37s and a 5 inch lift. Did the speedometer recalibration fix yours?

Yeah, it did. Just got a chance to play with it.

Ford lets you go up to 2880 (Forscan) / Down to 550 (?ish - ProCal) with the tire size. But the PCM will complain it you go that far. Anything beyond 2779 / 579 will throw a PCM DTM (silent, no CEC), and that breaks cruise control. Setting the tire size back under these limits clears the PCM DTC, and my cruise control works again.

I haven't seen how much deviation in speed I have going from 2860 (my calibrated tire size which matches the GPS) to 2779 yet, I may decide to keep a calibrated speed and let cruise control stay broken.

I’m going to give Flashcal a try and see if I set the tire size low it’ll fix it. I don’t have access to a windows computer or I would give for scan a shot.

I had trouble using the latest version of Forscan, and ended up using my ProCal tool to do the settings

What size tires are you running to have 2860 match GPS?
Because my 37” Nitto trail grapplers are dead on GPS at only ~2760mm
