Current Bronco Shopping Market in New England

I thought I’d make a post about what I discovered from current market conditions in New England.

Over past 2 days I have reached out to over 50 Ford dealers asking the exact statement:

I am looking to buy a New 2022 Bronco with Sasquatch Hardtop Lux and any color but White or Yellow. Preferably Badlands then Wildtrack followed by Outer Banks with above requirements.

Along with that I said I am absolutely willing to pay an ADM of 67500 max price (5-7k adm I’m adding) and ready to buy immediately.

This is part that gets me, NOT ONE was willing to deal. Not one. Either every dealer that had those listed on the auto sale apps didn’t have in stock or the cold calls dealers that had them simply weren’t willing to accept that offer.

This market is much worse than we thought and it is bad. I am longtime waiting and have reached the point of I’d rather pay the ADM.

This blows my mind and the market truly bears 10k adms etc. Maybe it’s this part of country I don’t know.

Beyond frustrated and if anyone can offer advice I’d surely take it. If anyone knows of a local dealer to them I guess within 1000 miles of New England let me know and I’ll call.

Just want a Bronco.

Dealers won’t respond to random emails. Pick up the phone and call. And expand your search beyond your local or regional area.

What? I did call everyone single one. Not a single email. Not one. I also called 52 dealers that’s pretty far out there ……

Even offered let them run my credit if they didn’t think I was serious .

If you get ahold of most of those dealers, they’ll probably tell you that they bought them from others - they’re 1 owner units. Most of them bought them for $10k over MSRP and then have to add their markups on that to turn a profit.

I’m in Connecticut but I can tell you that it’s not that your offer is bad or that it’s the area (because it’s national - I checked that too), it’s just that your offer doesn’t meet the economy of the situation. Dealers think they can get $15k ADM so they buy them at auction or so with $5-10k over MSRP holding that belief.

Provided the number of dealers in this situation, they must be selling. Otherwise they all wouldn’t be doing it and not nearly at the volume they’re doing it.

I wasn’t willing to go over MSRP - mines getting built the first week of August (lol) but that’s off a Day3 Reservation

In all fairness, I think the MIC top is the limiting factor. I have not seen many Badlands with MICs in NE.
