What has been your opinion/review of dealing with Jarrett at Darkmatter Designs? I am just looking to see if I am being nuts or if others have had the same experience.

Not real good.

Communication was garbage, it took about a month or better to ship, and my badges arrived broken.
They shipped their stuff like retarded 4th graders.
It wasn't worth the time or energy to notify them that my product was broken.

They can gargle a sack full of dicks, honestly.

Ordered badges May 9th. Received them June 14th. Both badges were broken. They stapled the badges in between two pieces of cardboard and then put them in a soft sided mailer. Not a good idea. Waiting on replacement badges! When I emailed them that my badges were broken I did not get a response, emailed again about a week later, no response. About three days later I got a response. They were on vacation was the reason I got for the late response! I am going to wait and see if they make this right before I make any judgements!

Good luck….my experience is that it is some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. That is after my order took 2 months and then showed up incorrect and incomplete.

I have ordered several custom items from him and received great service. BUT I have read his alert Messaging that they are small biz and expected a lengthy wait on my orders so wasn’t expecting a quick TAT. All packaging received secured and in good condition.

My experience is similar to all above.

My badges were perfect however and look great. I started getting a little short with him after weeks of "they are shipping on Friday" and he really didn't respond well to that. I've done ecommerce purchases since before it was a thing and have 10's of thousands of transactions under my belt (mostly purchasing for my I.T. company back in the day), and the few dozen that went bad felt a lot like this.

At the end of the day, if Jarrett is actually the designer/tech that produces his product I think he's got a lot of talent and a good product, I hope he gets the right person to help him with Customer Service/Shipping-Receiving so he can focus on his talents and deadlines.

Bought some 3M tape and pieced the entire back with it.

I placed an order last month and it arrived today. Looks perfect, no issues. I’m perfectly happy with their product; glad I made the purchase. It will be a great addition to my Bronco whenever it arrives.
I’ve had no issues with Jarret.

Try using 3M Press-In-Place Emblem Adhesive #MMM 08069. NAPA has it in stock but its way cheaper with Amazon.
