De-oranging / De-orangification: I can’t accept the orange!

Anyone want to trade your black/gray grab handles and/or your door and seat cargo nets for our (new) Badlands orange ones?

We just picked up our 4-door Badlands Sas in May, and we mostly love it … I HATE / ABHOR / DESPISE, and am REPULSED and OFFENDED by the orange accents, so I’m in the process of replacing or covering everything I possibly can with black or gray bits.

For the doors you can find pretty much any color elastic paracord on Amazon for pretty cheap.

That's how I felt about all the blue trim in my orange ride. Yuck! So much better now.

Yup same here I made a trade. Couldn’t find anyone to swap out the interior tho but I have been thinking about using a dye pen to change the stitching.

For the doors you can find pretty much any color elastic paracord on Amazon for pretty cheap.

How difficult is that? I have a hot pepper red Wildtrak coming and am so annoyed that it has blue accents inside I may just live with it but depending on how tough it is I may work to replace things.

The trade was easy.. removing the vent clips without breaking them wasn’t as easy.

Haha I meant the dye pen, but I was curious about the vents too. I wish Ford would just let me get all black accent clips and grab handles and what not.

The dye pen is easy depending on what color you are using. The thread will absorb the ink really well so it’s more like a dab on each thread and the color evens itself out.

I was going to say. The orange accents was one of the minor reasons I went with the badlands. With the orange stitching in the leather (nice touch). But to each their own.
